Emergency radio boosters

An emergency radio booster, also known as a Public Safety DAS or ERRCS, is a life-saving system that ensures police, firefighters, and paramedics can stay connected via two-way radios inside buildings where signals are typically weak—such as basements, stairwells, or garages. It works by receiving weak public safety radio signals from outside using a rooftop antenna, amplifying them, and redistributing the stronger signal throughout the building using indoor antennas. It also boosts the signal back out so first responders can communicate with dispatch. In many areas, this system is required by fire codes for new or renovated buildings. Additionally, it can help boost SOS signals from mobile phones when regular cell service fails, offering an extra layer of safety. With features like battery backup and monitoring, emergency radio boosters are essential for keeping first responders connected and ensuring buildings are compliant, prepared, and safer during emergencies.
